They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains. Woodmore's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Payton Whitcum, who had 13 digs and four aces, and Ariana Florio, who had 21 digs, nine kills, four aces, and three blocks. Florio has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last six times she's played.
Hopewell-Loudon can attribute much of their success to Maddie Holcomb, who had 21 digs and one assist.
Woodmore's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Hopewell-Loudon, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 7-13 record.
