After seven games on the road, Hamilton is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Lampasas Badgers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, the stars were shining brightly for Hamilton in a 54-37 victory over Bangs. Given Hamilton's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Bangs is ranked 666th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Brooklyn Bragg, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. She set a new season high mark in blocks with seven. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Massingill, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lampasas scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Florence 60-13 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Lampasas has managed all season.
Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Lampasas, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
Everything came up roses for Hamilton against Lampasas when the teams last played back in November as the team secured a 62-34 win. Does Hamilton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lampasas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
