The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Calvary Saints at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Mt. Pulaski didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Crusaders, but they still walked away with a 58-54 win.
Meanwhile, Calvary didn't have too much trouble with the Redskins at home on Friday as they won 67-53.
Calvary found their leader in underclassman Luke Blackford, who scored 34 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Blackford has scored at least a third of Calvary's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Brown, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and six steals.
Mt. Pulaski's victory bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Calvary, their win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-8.
