They enjoyed a cozy 30-13 win over Linden. Given Mt. Pleasant's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Linden is ranked 165th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mt. Pleasant's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. As for Linden, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.
Mt. Pleasant will take on Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Linden, they will head out on the road to face off against Mason at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mason is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
