Augusta waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with  a   6-1  victory over the Osseo-Fairchild Thunder. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  10-0  back in April.
 Laney O'Brien was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  earning one  RBI, one  run,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rilee Bethke, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Cecelia Schroeder was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with three  stolen bases and two  runs.
Augusta pushed their record up to 13-7 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
