For Enterprise, this counts as revenge for the 45-38 defeat Clarkdale walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Despite the loss, Clarkdale saw an underclassman step up: Cade Culpepper scored 27 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Culpepper scored a full 50% of Clarkdale's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ladonya Adams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Clarkdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Enterprise will head out on the road to face off against West Lauderdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Lauderdale presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Enterprise in Mississippi (West Lauderdale is ranked 38th, while Enterprise is ranked 161st). As for Clarkdale, they will be playing at home against Mize at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mize and Clarkdale are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
