They blew past Alameda, posting a 61-17 win at home. That's another feather in the cap for Littleton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Jacy Chandler, who scored 21 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Littleton's points. Vicky Whitney was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Littleton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Alameda, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Littleton will face off against Golden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alameda, they will head out on the road to face off against Pomona at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pomona presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Alameda in Colorado (Pomona is ranked 130th, while Alameda is ranked 316th).
