Eagle Academy III put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 41-0 victory over the Roosevelt Cougars. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Cougars are ranked 499th).

Eagle Academy III's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Roosevelt, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eagle Academy III will challenge rival Far Rockaway on Sunday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 0.8, the Seahorses 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Roosevelt is set to take on their familiar foe Transit Tech at 2:00 p.m. on the 9th.
