Purdue Broad Ripple got themselves on the board against Indianapolis Crispus Attucks on Wednesday, but Indianapolis Crispus Attucks never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 18-0 win. The Lynx might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Purdue Broad Ripple got a massive performance out of Ryan Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Smith a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Smith, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Purdue Broad Ripple, bringing their record up to 9-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coming up, Purdue Broad Ripple will be playing at home against Providence Cristo Rey at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.29 runs per game on average), something the Lynx will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they will head out to face off against Liberty Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
