Sand Creek won the last time they faced Sierra and things went their way on Thursday too. The Scorpions were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Stallions. The result was nothing new for the Scorpions, who have now won six matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Hayden Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Avyn Walter, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Sand Creek hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.

Sand Creek's record is now 10-8. As for Sierra, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Looking ahead, Sand Creek will venture away from home to take on Falcon at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sierra, they will welcome Ellicott at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
