Aubrey Gottfried was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Katie Woodland was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Trenna Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, while Seneca East put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Plymouth. The Tigers blew past the Big Red 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Madi Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
