Volleyball Recap: Woodland Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Woodland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Wood Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Woodland's offense was headlined by Kate Fricke and Maison Cochran-Counts, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Harlee Sucevich and her 19 assists.

Woodland's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Wood, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Woodland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Pierce on the 27th. As for Wood, they will take on Dixon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
