There's no place like home for the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 73-66 win over South Fort Myers on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
LaBelle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alan King jr, who scored 16 points. King jr hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Clifford Love, who scored 14 points.
LaBelle's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for South Fort Myers, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaBelle will take on Neumann at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Fort Myers, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Verot at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
