North Vermillion Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Matthew Dawson
Matthew Dawson's big game helped extend North Vermillion's winning streak to five on Friday. Dawson was unstoppable, throwing for 225 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons faces off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Thunderbirds, probably because Dawson had a solid game then too: he rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 88 yards and a touchdown while completing 87.5% of his passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
