It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-17, which was the final score in Westminster Christian's tilt against the Lions on Tuesday. Westminster Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.
Meanwhile, Illinois Math & Science Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight defeat. They were dealt a 54-21 defeat at the hands of Parkview Christian Academy. Westminster Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Westminster Christian strolled past the Titans when the teams last played back in January of 2020 by a score of 44-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westminster Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
