The Stone Tomcats missed an extra point against the East Central Hornets on Thursday and it came back to haunt them. Stone and East Central were almost perfectly matched up, but Stone suffered an agonizing 21-20 loss. Despite 110 more yards than East Central, Stone couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Stone's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Keena Galloway ii, who gained 112 total yards and two touchdowns, and Daylon Collins who rushed for 93 yards on only 13 carries.
Cody Yauch was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns.
Stone has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for East Central, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.
Stone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
