Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colonial Forge). They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging an 82-51 victory over the Unity Reed Lions. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 25 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Finn Perschau, who posted 18 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Taysean Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Colonial Forge was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Unity Reed lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Charles Pargo, who scored 23 points and six rebounds. The match was Pargo's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Russell Robinson, who had 11 points.

Colonial Forge pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Unity Reed, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Colonial Forge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-62 victory against Riverbend on the 16th. As for Unity Reed, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-46 loss against Freedom on the 17th.
