After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blountstown, Liberty County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Wewahitchka Gators as the Liberty County Bulldogs made off with a 49-27 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season.
Liberty County was led to victory by Emmie Peddie and Kaylee Sexton. Peddie posted 16 points, while Sexton scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Davis, who had five points.
Despite the loss, Wewahitchka saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Niah Carter put up 14 points.
