Eastern Greene barely beat Bloomfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunderbirds put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 5-2 win on Wednesday. The score was close at halftime, but Eastern Greene pulled away in the second half with four goals.

Griff Hengeveld and Aiden Jones scored all five of Eastern Greene's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Eastern Greene's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Bloomfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
