After a string of three wins, the Wyomissing Spartans's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 65-52 to Lampeter-Strasburg. Lampeter-Strasburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Smucker led the charge by going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 0 assists. Smucker hasn't dropped below 15 points for eight straight games. Justin Glick was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Wyomissing's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Wyomissing will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fleetwood is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, they will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
