Basketball Recap: Caden Andreas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ridgeline over Kamiakin

On Saturday, the Ridgeline Falcons came up short against the Kamiakin Braves and fell 56-46. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Andreas, who went 8 for 18 on his way to 16 points and six steals. Andreas' afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Ehlers, who posted ten points and six boards.

Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Kamiakin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will welcome Ferris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season. As for Kamiakin, they will square off against Walla Walla at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kamiakin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
