The Highlands Ranch Falcons can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. Everything went their way against Heritage as Highlands Ranch made off with a 75-54 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Highlands Ranch as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Olin Anderson was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Aidan Snody was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
When it comes to explaining why Heritage lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brayden Chaney. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tanner Terch, who scored 11 points.
Even though they lost, Heritage smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Highlands Ranch only pulled down four offensive rebounds.
Highlands Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Highlands Ranch will head out on the road to take on Rangeview at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heritage, they will be playing at home against Littleton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
