Southwest SD lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Crawford, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's matchup. The Southwest SD Raiders put the hurt on the Crawford Colts with a sharp 18-1 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Samantha Ramirez, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aketzalli Rodriguez, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Southwest SD always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Crawford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest SD will challenge Mount Miguel at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest SD is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.6 runs per game this season. As for Crawford, they will take on High Tech SD at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. High Tech SD will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Crawford surely won't give up without a fight.
