The Penns Grove Red Devils won the last time they faced the Williamstown Braves, and things went their way on Monday too. Penns Grove breezed by the Braves on the road to the tune of 63-22. With that win, Penns Grove brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.
Penns Grove got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mekhi Ballard out in front who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Roman Gipson, who scored 12 points.
Penns Grove's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for Williamstown, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penns Grove will take on the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Schalick has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Williamstown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clearview is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
