After flying high against DSST: Montview  last Wednesday, Bruce Randolph came back down to earth. Meanwhile,  Henderson   struck out nine batters over  5.2 innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   seven  hits. At the plate,  Medina  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-4, while  Henderson  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Medina is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Asher Buehrle, who  went 1-for-4 with  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Gabe Munguia, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Bruce Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Arvada, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season.
 Bruce Randolph will head out on the road to  take on  Dawson School at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. As for Arvada, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Denver West at 4:00  p.m. Denver West is coming into the  contest with seven straight  losses on the road,  meaning Arvada will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win.
