Riverside had a senior duo take command as Stone Wallace rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries and Desmond Thomas rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Adamsville's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Adamsville will head out on the road to face off against Gibson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will be playing at home against Jackson Central Merry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson Central Merry is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
