Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Oldham). They blew past the South Oldham Dragons 15-5 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mustangs have posted against the Dragons since May 7, 2021.

The win made it two in a row for North Oldham and bumps their season record up to 11-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for South Oldham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

North Oldham will square off against Anderson County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Mustangs' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while the Bearcats have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for South Oldham, they will head out to square off against Bardstown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
