Coby Speed held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
Charlotte Catholic was led to victory by Liam Gates and Chris Eagan. Gates scored 15 points, while Eagan scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Gates continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Edgar Escobedo was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Garinger's loss was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Charlotte Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Garinger will be playing in front of their home fans against Sugar Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sugar Creek is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59 points per game this season. As for Charlotte Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Butler at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Butler has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 252 points over their last four contests.
