Leading Pamlico County to victory were Sydney Whitley-Reese and Nya Clark. Whitley-Reese dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, while Clark scored 26 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clark has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dania Galvan-Veliz, who scored four points along with three blocks.
Pamlico County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Jones, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Pamlico County will head out on the road to challenge Northside - Pinetown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northside - Pinetown is on a three-game streak of home wins, Pamlico County a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Jones will take on Southside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
