Mattanawcook had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Lee Academy on Wednesday. The Lynx were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Pandas. The victory continues a trend for the Lynx in their matchups with the Pandas: they've now won six in a row.

True Weatherbee made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two). He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.

In other pitching news, Isaac Ritchie looked comfortable as he went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Noah Phelps, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Harper, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Mattanawcook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .459. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Mattanawcook's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lee Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
