Everything went Senatobia's way against Byhalia on Thursday as they made off with a 42-10 win. 42 seems to be a good number for Senatobia as the squad scooped up a win with the same point total in their matchup last week.
Senatobia's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 21 first-half points. Meanwhile, Byhalia couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. The Senatobia defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the game.
Senior Deondre House, who rushed for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Senatobia's success. If you haven't heard House's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past four games. Junior John michael Foster was in the mix, too, providing Senatobia with three touchdowns. The win got them back to even at 4-4. Byhalia are on a three-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 4-5.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Senatobia take on Tishomingo County at 7:00 PM. As for Byhalia, they will face off against Ripley.
