The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hayes Center, who took down 59th ranked Brady, 66-56. Tristan Johnson threw for 188 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 121 yards in the win.
Medicine Valley extended the longest winning streak in D2 District 8 (8 Man) this week by beating Southwest, 66-6. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Raiders.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Zach Mann and Troy Lusk proved tough for the Cardinals to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Mann threw for 290 yards and four touchdowns and Lusk had 115 yards receiving. Cole Viter helped Brady's passing attack out by catching four balls for 104 yards.
Seth Gohl was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 156 yards on 31 carries as Hayes Center lost to Hayes Center.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Medicine Valley takes on Wallace. Scott Johnsen's team has allowed 118 points this season, while the Wildcats have given up 238. The Raiders allowed 6 points last week as they beat the Roughriders.
Medicine Valley took down Southwest 66-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
