1A-2 Region IV District 14 recap September 10, 2013
Fans got a thrill when Dean Gaskamp and Austen Camber connected against Poth. The longest such play in 1A-2 Region IV District 14 this season, the connection resulted in 81 yards.
Falls City scaled the state rankings by moving to 322 from 462 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Beavers were able to make move up by beating the Pirates 36-0.
Falls City's dynamic duo of Gaskamp and Camber proved tough for Poth to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gaskamp threw for 179 yards and 3 touchdowns and Camber had 106 yards receiving.
Steve Marbach's team's dynamic duo of Gaskamp and Camber proved to be unstoppable against Andrew King's team, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Camber was the best receiver in the league this week as the Beavers topped the Pirates.
Corey Barnes was the most successful running back in 1A-2 Region IV District 14 this week. In 12 carries, he ran for 145 yards as Runge bested Poth. Teammate Aaron Charles added to the ground attack by rushing for 146 yards.
Gaskamp put up the best numbers in passing as the Beavers bested the Pirates.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Falls City's Gaskamp and Camber have proven to be a lethal combination. Gaskamp has thrown for 275 yards this season, while Camber has 5 catches for 137 yards. The Yellowjackets' Barnes leads the league in rushing yards with 324.
The Beavers took down Poth 36-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Gaskamp ran for 51 yards during the win.
