Crater will challenge Ashland on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Crater don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Crater took the game and then some with a 49-13 win last Saturday over South Eugene. Junior Trever Davis and senior Ethan Scott were among the main playmakers for Crater as the former picked up 54 yards on the ground and accumulated 91 passing yards and the latter punched in 1 rushing TD and snatched 1 receiving TD. Davis has been a consistent playmaker for Crater as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Ashland took a serious blow against Eagle Point, falling 17-52. This makes it the second loss in a row for Ashland.
Everything went Crater's way against Ashland the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 41-14 victory.
