In this week's power rankings, we saw one team go soaring up and another team come crashing down, along with everything in between. Part of the action? A towering 116-point combined score for Seaside and Gladstone.
Can't Touch This
Even though West Linn was bested by Sheldon 42 - 27 last week, West Linn's senior Dawson Jolley played one heck of a game. He rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns. That performance landed Jolley among the top power-ranked players for the week.
No Stoppin 'Em
The match between Seaside and Gladstone last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 116 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Seaside took its contest against Gladstone by a conclusive 70 - 46 score. The win boosted Seaside a satisfying nine spots in the power rankings.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Clackamas (4th in the power rankings) and Lake Oswego (2nd). Both teams have their heads held high after dominating their previous opponents. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, we'll see how far they can run the score up this week.
