It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Spanish Springs had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the McQueen Lancers 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Lancers back in April, they had to take a 8-4 loss.

Spanish Springs is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season. As for McQueen, they now have a losing record of 15-16-1.

Looking ahead, Spanish Springs will square off against Galena at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. McQueen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
