Starting off the list is South Sioux City's Tony Palmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Omaha North Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Jaron Cannon
Omaha North picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jaron Cannon. Cannon did his part (and then some), rushing for 143 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Unfortunately for Bellevue West, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cannon. Cannon rushed for 162 yards while picking up 10.1 yards per carry the last time he and the Thunderbirds duked it out back in August of 2023.

Darion Jones Makes It Two for Omaha North
Keeping Cannon company is Darion Jones, a fellow Omaha North player. He picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jones' next game is against Lincoln Southwest on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort. The contest will pit Jones up against the Silver Hawks' star WR Griffin Semrad. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.
