Lincoln County are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Mercer County on Friday at 7:30 PM. Mercer County will need to watch out since Lincoln County have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Lincoln County had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 38-28 victory over East Jessamine.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Mercer County, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They steamrollered Garrard County 49-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for Mercer County as it put an end to their 3-game losing streak.
Their wins bumped Mercer County to 1-3 and Lincoln County to 3-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
