After two weeks on the road, Franklin is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Pisgah at 7:30 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Franklin and Pisgah will really light up the scoreboard.
After a disappointing seven points in their last game, Franklin made sure to put some points up on the board against East Henderson last Friday. Franklin won the matchup and then some against East Henderson, taking the matchup 43-14. Among those leading the charge for Franklin was senior Blake Gibson, who passed for 361 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Pisgah might be getting used to good results now that the squad has four wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against Hendersonville as the team secured a 52-17 victory. Followers of Pisgah probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Their wins bumped Franklin to 6-3 and Pisgah to 8-1. The Franklin defense got after the quarterback against East Henderson to the tune of seven sacks, so Pisgah's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
