After two weeks on the road, Fairhaven is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Somerset Berkley Regional at 7:00 PM. The teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-35, which was the final score in Fairhaven's tilt against Old Rochester Regional last Friday.
Meanwhile, Somerset Berkley Regional had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 19-20 to Apponequet Regional. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
