There's no place like home for Saks, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wellborn Panthers on Tuesday as the Saks Wildcats made off with a 76-52 win. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Wellborn lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ray Williams, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Williams is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Williams, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds.

Saks' victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7. As for Wellborn, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Saks Wildcats take on the Faith Christian Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wellborn, they will welcome Ohatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wellborn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.
