In other batting news, Hudson Reese was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of The Covenant's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Dayne Honaker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
The Covenant was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. The Covenant has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hargrave Military Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
