Northview Academy had to endure  a  five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pigeon Forge Tigers  a   15-0 shutout  on Monday. That's more bragging rights for Northview Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Baylee Stewart made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Stewart was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Abigail Doty was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Shelby Gibbons, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Northview Academy's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-10. As for Pigeon Forge, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Northview Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Fulton at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Northview Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3  runs per game  this season. As for Pigeon Forge, they will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00  p.m.
