Hamshire-Fannett made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hardin-Jefferson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns put the hurt on the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks with a sharp 12-3 victory on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Longhorns considering their one-run performance the match before.

Jade Hill tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Hamshire-Fannett got a massive performance out of Avery Gallier, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Emileigh Droddy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Hamshire-Fannett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Hamshire-Fannett now has a winning record of 12-11-2. As for Hardin-Jefferson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
