Calvary Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the North Plainfield Canucks. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for North Plainfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Calvary Christian has already played their next game (against Piscataway Vo-Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Plainfield, they will venture away from home to take on Dunellen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Destroyers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Canucks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
