Sierra Canyon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyatt Becker, who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes. Another player making a difference was Terrell Cooks jr., who rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
When it comes to explaining why Chaminade lost, one person who can't be blamed is Seth Shigg. Despite the final result, he threw for 127 yards on 11 of 21 attempts.
Sierra Canyon's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Chaminade, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
