Anacoco and Hicks are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Indians will host the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anacoco is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Anacoco's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Florien as they made off with a 15-0 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by ten runs or more this season.

Peyton Wenrich was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Anacoco's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Luke Thompson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Anacoco always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Florien only posted an OBP of .182.
Meanwhile, Hicks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Sulphur by a score of 5-4.
Addison Coffman was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI. That double was his first of the season.
Coffman wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cody Richardson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Braedon Thacker was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
Anacoco now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Hicks, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.
Anacoco couldn't quite finish off Hicks when the teams last played back in April of 2025 and fell 3-1. Will the Indians have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
