Herrin came into Thursday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Johnston City Indians on Thursday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While Herrin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15.

Addison Stinson was the offensive standout of the game as she had 14 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

Herrin's record now sits at 2-4. As for Johnston City, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.
