The Pennsauken Indians lost against Trenton Catholic Academy back in February of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pennsauken was dealt a 82-39 loss at the hands of Trenton Catholic Academy.
Among those leading the charge was Mayah Alford, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sondjane Dourdin, who scored 19 points.
Pennsauken bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Trenton Catholic Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pennsauken will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delran at 5:15 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Trenton Catholic Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Pemberton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
