Tokay has gone 6-1 against McNair recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Tokay will be strutting in after a win while McNair will be coming in after a defeat.
Tokay is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Galt on Thursday. The Tigers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 6, 2025 (when they won 17-1).
Brooklyn Schaede and Sophia Galletti made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Schaede tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Galletti struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Schaede went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Galletti went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jocelyn Gomez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Allie Castelanelli also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.
Tokay kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, McNair lost 14-4 to Galt on Monday.
Kamryn Baser made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Emerald Gerardo, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
McNair now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tokay, their record now sits at 3-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Tokay has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like McNair struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Tokay got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against McNair by a conclusive 20-1 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
